Ellie Barnes started posting under the alias ‘Miss Modular’ in 2020. The nickname was inspired by the Stereolab song featured on Doots and Loops. She shoots simple photos on her Pentax Point & Shoot. From California, she feels a deep affection for the ocean, desert, canyons, and the critters that inhabit the land. In her free time, she likes to research music history, watch horror movies, pray to a god that isn’t listening, and learn anything and everything there is to learn.

She currently resides in New York City. More importantly, she loves feeling the wind in her hair.
